I had one question for the seller, I emailed him via his info on packet, he had an answer for me inside of ten minutes. I periodically checked update process by opening driver door, interior lights off via overhead switch, and I also turned the MMI screen off after each check. The MMI 15 minute time out is deactivated when on the update screen, so key isn't necessary. To minimize battery drain, do not turn on accessory, and definitely don't start the car. I highly recommend it simply because the guy knows what he is doing and bricking your MMI isn't cool.Ī couple of notes: it took about 90 minutes, I had a motorcycle battery tender on the terminals under the hood, 1.5 amp rating. I contacted the seller, he asked me specific hardware and software version questions, and put together a package customized for my application, complete with detailed instructions including pictures. I have to say that this is more than worth it. I just finished the update process using the eBay packet from my last post. There is no way to reverse it after that. After the BT module is fixed, or the Disk 1 tells you that nothing needs to be done to the BT module, then you'll run Disk 2 to upgrade the other modules in the MMI.įYI: If you do not run the Disk 1 first, and your BT module has mismatch between SW and FW and you run Disk 2, the BT module will be bricked. If there is a mismatch then the Disk 1 will update the Bluetooth module to the needed SW and FW version. The Disk 1 purpose is solely to find out if the Bluetooth module software and firmware are matching. 25$ shipped. You need to run the Disk 1 of the 4610. I gave up when I couldn't locate CD+R CDs. He builds custom update kits, you just give him your software info. Do I need to run through both CD's or can i just go to second disc? this is confusing and i seem to be the only one on here coming from 4140. Hey all, I'm on 4140 right now and want to update to 4610. I just do not know what is the module IDC and what do i need to do to update it? Anyone experienced it? CD2 found the IDC and it has Y on it.Run the update got the same message again, "The following devices are not in download mode." Tried it a few more times and nada.Ĭhecked the car after that and it looked like everything is still working so thats good news. The device is still running version 320 unchanged.Īfter it restarted MMI, I turned off ignition, removed the key, reinserted, started the car, and tried doing the update again using CD1 to be sure but the same, nothing to update. The device is still running version 430 unchanged.īootloader: Update to version 330 was not downloaded. Summary for IDC below:Īpplikation: Update to version 470 was not downloaded. I tried it again but the same message appeared. Option is to "Try again" or "Continue with next device". I got the message " The following devices are not in download mode:IDC". Everything went smoothly except the module called IDC. There it found a bunch of modules to update (5 i think). The correct command for commandrunner should be c:\fbvuze\fbvuze.I did my update today from 3360 to 4610 and also the Navigation using the 2010 NAV DVD. Configure the autocategory plugin to categorise whatever you download and that you want processed, make sure they match the categories in the config file.Ħ. In vuze install the plugins Autocategory and CommandRunnerĥ. Edit fbvuzeconf.txt according to your needs, paths, rename formats, xbmc info, categorynames etc.Ĥ. Put both fbvuzeconf.txt and fbvuze.exe in c:\fbvuzeģ. that you need to configure.įor those of you on linux or mac there's comments in the perl script where you must change the path from \ to / ( It might work just to replace all \\ with \/).Ģ. The configfile contains some help text as well as other stuff like paths etc. The configfile and binary MUST be located in c:\fbvuze and filebot must be in the path. Included in the zip is a sample config file, the actual perl script and that perl script compiled into a win32 binary since most windows users won't have perl installed. Once that is done it can notify xbmc to update it's library. Leaving everything intact for seeding while at the same time not cluttering up the directories with other stuff so that when you delete the torrent theres not a directory left. The biggest difference between this and the other i've found is that this script will copy downloaded media files, while if it extracts a media file it will move it instead. So it being summer and shit to do at work i decided to make a wrapper for filebot since i've had issues with samples being moved in existing scripts and some functionality that's been missing.
